I dont put any additives into my beer, just sugar and whatever's in the can i buyim just doing easy shit right now, mead/wine. never was a beer guy, but i might look into doing something harder now that ive got a bit of experience.
I'll use my jugular
got a coworker that's straight up alcoholic. the night he found out the bars were about to open, he nearly jumped out of his seat and cheered. the only thing that held him down was his baya-level size. he nearly lost his job last this week because he went out drinking and didnt show for work.Good plan. That way you have an excuse to wear scarfs in the summer.
Jokes aside tho, I would unironically state that a well-adjusted heroin addiction is way healthier than being a full-fledged alcoholic.
im counting down the daysthe night he found out the bars were about to open, he nearly jumped out of his seat and cheered
That's insane.. link me to some brewing info.homemade fermented honey-water. ~8.3%ABV, backsweetened with more honey.

I did beer a decade ago but I'm needing a new hobby
What is your favorite?what're you looking for? ive been doing mead, but there's vids on jewtube for pretty much anything.
edit: it was the channel "The Modern Rogue" that first got me interested. those texans do videos on damn near anything from making mead to playing with ham radios.
What is your favorite?
I looked at the links and will study more alternatives, but what do you like the most?
I thought about this today, high acidic fruits (citrus, florida) probably wouldn't do well.. but strawberry, mango or papaya might.so far, i like a simple mead with apple juice. ive been considering that one that adds jalepeno peppers and, iirc, cherries.
scratch that, my next batch im using pineapples. looks like the yeast doesnt mind the acidity from the couple videos ive watched.
tree fruits like apples, cherries and pears seem to be pretty commonly done. berries a little less so, like blueberries and strawberries. dont think ive seen anyone do tomatoes yet, though i've seen one jalepeno recipe made. you should set up your lab and make youtube videos (like everyone else...)!I thought about this today, high acidic fruits (citrus, florida) probably wouldn't do well.. but strawberry, mango or papaya might.
I need to buy supplies and start a lab... lol
