Female Long Island youth therapist sent child porn posing as a man who bragged about abusing ‘his’ kids: cops

A female Long Island therapist allegedly posed as a man with babies and bragged about sexually assaulting “his” kids while sending sick child porn — then later confessed she got off on it.
Renee Hoberman, 36, was arrested Wednesday after she shared multiple videos on the messaging app Kik that depicted infants — ranging in age from 6-months to 1-year old — being tied up and raped by a man, as the tots helplessly sobbed during the sexual abuse, the feds alleged.
The sicko even pretended to be a man during disturbing chats on Oct. 16, where she claimed to have multiple minors she sexually abuses, according to a federal complaint.
“The user further claimed that ‘he’ would have anal sex with the children and would punish the children by getting naked, stripping the children naked, and spanking them while the other children watched,” the complaint alleges.
Hoberman allegedly “invited another user to visit ‘his’ family in New York to spank the children.”
She then allegedly sent two child porn videos while describing how she sexually abused her own children.
The accused pervert chatted under several usernames including “badgurl854,” “AlwayzSpnkednkd,” “prettyprncss2388,” “Daddywhospanks Naked,” and multiple others during the disgusting incidents, which allegedly occurred between June and October 2024.
“As alleged, Hoberman distributed heinous and disturbing child pornography, including videos showing infants being restrained and raped,” said US Attorney Anthony Pierce in a statement.
“Additionally, while posing as a man, Hoberman, who is a therapist serving children, claimed to have produced child pornography and offered others the opportunity to sexually abuse children.”
Authorities zeroed in on Hoberman after they received several tips about the abuse from Kik.
When agents from the Homeland Security Investigations unit raided her Plainview home on Wednesday, Hoberman confessed to the stomach-churning crimes and admitted that she also sent child porn on Telegram, Discord and WhatsApp, according to the complaint.
Officials also allegedly found several child porn videos in a hidden photos folder on her phone.
She admitted to agents that she “has a preference for children from infancy to age three, and that she prefers violent depictions of the children in child pornogaphy,” according to the complaint.
Hoberman worked as a child therapist specializing in infancy to 17-year olds at LifeStance Health in Melville, The New York Times reported.
In a statement, the employer said she worked as a “part-time provider” and was canned by the company on Wednesday.
“We take this matter extremely seriously and have immediately terminated the provider and are working with patients to transfer care to other providers,” LifeStance told The Times.
“We have not received any information from authorities indicating that any patients have been impacted by the alleged activity.”
Hoberman was charged with distribution of child pornography and arraigned Wednesday afternoon in Central Islip.
A judge ordered her held without bail.

Calling her a “danger” to society, Assistant U.S. Attorney Kaitlin McTague told the court, “Her conduct is simply grotesque.” “Today, Renee Hoberman was sentenced for distributing sordid images and videos depicting the horrific sexual abuse of the most innocent and vulnerable members of our society: infants and children,” stated United States Attorney Nocella, according to a Department of Justice (DOJ) press release.
“The defendant’s access to children has come to an end. Our Office will relentlessly pursue child predators and hold them accountable to the fullest extent of the law,” the release further stated.
Hoberman used encrypted social media apps to trade videos, images
There were more than 100 images on Hoberman’s devices and accounts, The NY Post reported. Several images involved the stomach-turning sexual abuse of young toddlers and even newborns. The defendant, Hoberman, a licensed social worker from Plainview, was arrested on October 23, 2024, and pleaded guilty on June 18, 2025, the DOJ release said. She has been incarcerated since her arrest.
She reportedly distributed child pornography videos on the social media app Kik, including footage of a baby less than one year old being sexually exploited, according to the NY Post. She shared the videos in 2024 while working in Melville as a therapist with kids 17 years old and younger.
