Lolol. Because the place attracts a lot of toxic individuals, and they do shitty things like that. It's a looksmaxxing forum and many people there are narcissistic and egoistical, whereas others come there for help so they can look better (the most ironic part is that I don't looksmax myself, I am pretty much a shitposter there -- I just post in Off-topic, the busiest subforum). But despite that, there's some wholesome people there and I have made good friends there. So can't say I regret being a part of it all. After all, I'm probably the most OG user there (apart from the co-creator [the creators got doxxed by the New York Times and one of them disappeared forever, one of them came back -- still surprised they managed to pull it off because the administrators were so keen on their privacy and never once mentioned the country they were from).

Doxxing there is mainly limited to leaking someone's face rather than their address. Although some of the users did doxx some Tiktok user because he was spreading information about the forum (they wanted to gatekeep it, and keep their uber secret looksmaxxing secrets to themselves, I guess). I think the dude has a few 100k followers. Not sure how many. 200k, 300k? I dunno. But it was kinda lulzy.

EDramatica or the looksmaxxing forum? I think I saw ED articles in the late 2000s or early 2010s. I think late 2000s. And I discovered there was a forum, so I registered. I remember this isn't the first incarnation of this forum and years went by without there being another forum as well. Good times.
