yup, im aware. the merchants' association or whatever theyre called created a new code just for gun-related purchases. amazon willingly sends purchase data to the feds without them even asking every other month, literally (dont purchase that 3d printer in the same decade as gun lubricant). And Trump's natural instinct is to ban firearm stuff or firearms altogether if the crime is horrific enough. He's shown that in the past, and there's a YT vid where Feinstein is literally doing the greedy merchant meme when Trump announced including an assault weapons ban.

My point being is that if the gubbermint wanted to ban all firearms aside flintlocks they would and could do so. It's pretty obvious that the political class see laws as just words on a piece of paper and that attitude is trickling down to law abiding citizens. So it's not just the "criminals" which are doing their own thing now. Thanks to the squish stance on drugs for decades it's finally trickled down to other aspects of society and rights.

Don't get me wrong I'm a lifelong member of the utterly useless NRA, and starting to make donations to the GOA a regular thing. But they are just lawyers gabbing away in the court's arena. It's not real life.
