I cannot recommend the Outrage series enough. Its a japanese look at the Yakuza so more realistic then the western rip offs. Their should be 3 movies out, all piratable and some on Itunes.
The soundtrack for Yakuza 0 has a lot of great hype tracks for working out.

Anyhow before this gets too derailed, I've never played any of the games but the baka mitai meme got me invested into the series. Overall, if I had to describe the games, they're the JoJo of beat em ups.
Yakuza 0 had gone on sale many times and at 5 bucks it's a steal. I liked the reference to Japan's bubble economy scattered about in parts of that game.
