I've been trying to find a documentary about training Orangutans to share food where a male orangutan is made to give a piece of food to a female one, and successfully so, but is then immediately frustrated and slaps the female. I remember the deep loud thud it made. It might be a seventies doc, and I did find this one below but haven't checked it yet:
