Hi, I want to genuinely apologize to you for being rude in the book thread, should not have assumed your taste in fiction. honestly, the one thing I can recommend is the Deluge when it comes to swedish history. sweden almost did what germany couldn't, and eradicated most of Poland's population so hard that it's still mentioned in the Polish national song.

here's a book specifically aimed at it, I haven't read it myself so I don't know how "good" the source material is but even the wikipedia page about the Deluge is pretty hilarious to read.
