Speaking of coherence, the movie ‘Coherence’ was not bad for a low budget flick that used quite a bit of the actors’ improv for the script. Although technically not horror, it had some unsettling ideas and scenes that can fit within the horror genre.

The idea is ok, even if not particularly original, visually is pretty interesting and I love the fuckton of practical effects...
...but it must be one of the most tryhardy flicks I have seen in my life, the pace is horrible, it starts at 8 and then quickly escalates to 11
The actions of the characters are both predictable and absurd, one hour into it I was already completely jump scare/plot twist desensitized... in fact, reminded me quite a bit of The Void in that regard
