Gets credit for being first real fps iirc. Before that, shooter games were left-right or bottom-up perspective.

It's great especially with the map packs that the community makes
mouselook pretty much breaks the game but it's still the definitive way to play it

Eternal feels like playing World of Warcraft where you have to do combos (rotations) of weapon swaps against certain type of demons followed by the occasional dumping of cooldowns
