Yeah 50BMG is on the bucket list but honestly, it's gonna be a safe queen if I get one.

    BBBBUUUUUUUUUUTTTTTTTT
If I had to get a long range rifle which I don't have the space to really practice with, completely impractical and every time I pulled the trigger, I would spend eye watering amounts of money per round, CheyTac M300 Praetorian .408CT would be my go to.

    **Rounds aren't that expensive,***
    I hear you say.
    See below.
Yup that's $14.50 a round. (Doesn't include shipping -if applicable, insurance, or state fees - California has that now on ammo I believe - NY, NJ, NC, VA and other states are waiting to see what happens to California to act. ) That's about average. Smaller amounts (10 round box) can cost up to $18-20 per round.

    For context:
50 BMG is a far more popular round and you can get 200 rounds for about 800 bucks.
MY 338 LM runs from about $2.50- $7.00 depending on bullet type and weight.

    They all vote liberal.
Peter is a retard. Votes liberal. Because he's too stupid to think for himself.
Brian is an ideolog. Votes liberal because he's a defender of "what's right."
Quagmire is a sex fiend. Votes liberal. He needs the medical for his sexual diseases and social acceptance.
Joe is disabled. Votes liberal. He depends on the benifits.
Cleveland is black. Duh voted liberal due to being cucked by his wife with Quagmire. Now tells everyone he votes independent but votes liberal.

Some say that's halfway to bolt failure, but I say that can be negated by using a higher quality bolt or BCG. I run Wilsons in many of my lower end builds and they are rated for 30K+. Then they ususally come back with "barrel wear." I laugh at them. If you are not active Spec Ops military, you're coming no where near wearing out a barrel. FFS. Theyll tell me they shoot 3-5K rounds a year, I ask them how many times they go to the range, how long, etc. (average 3-4 times for a couple of hours) then I tell them to be honest and they admit it's more like half that when I tell them that round count is impossible because I used to shoot about 1.5K rounds a month and would go nearly every week and spend nearly six hours each visit, and that doesn't include pistol drills which is another 300-600 rounds for another four hours (during the summer).
I told them take it easy on your equipment, Maybe six mags through the rifle, then lock the bolt back, and let it cool, switch to another rifle, or work pistol drills while it cools. That is unless you have a desire to beat up your firearms.

I get mixed reactions. Some say it's a good idea while other say that doesn't fit their timeframe for range-work. That's how I get them to fess up to what they are really sending down range. Every Friday, then turns into I try to get there every month and sometimes it's once a quarter. Which is the situation I'm in now thanks to the economy.

Long story short, you can make a PSA budget rifle shoot and last as long as a premium brand. You just need to know what parts to switch out.
    For example,

Lower receiver with stock will run you from 80-400. Since I cut my own, mine are about 300 dollars becasue I use CMC triggers and they are 130-200 each.
Rear sight 20-100 dollars. Magpul makes a Poly one for about 20 bucks and it's good enough for back up sights
Charging handle 10-200 dollars. I usually spend no more than 100 bucks on this. Don't see the need to buy a 400 dollar charging handle. The 20 dollar ones tend to break after about 5K rounds. Buy once cry once or at least postpone the tears for a bit.
BCG 70-400 dollars. These you can usually find on sale, but even if you don't want to wait you can get a higher end one for about 200 bucks.

so at the price of about 1000 bucks you can get a similar quality "duty grade" rifle for the price of a striped upper Wilson, DD, or geissele makes.

    Don't do anything foolish.

Yeah. Women have no sense of survival.
They're killed in huge numbers by blacks, but white, whitish boring men who go to work and endure their endless bullshit are the toxic ones.
