Sometimes you have to read between the lines and possess a little more knowledge about immigration in foreign countries. Poilievre smartly links immigration with the housing crisis. That gives him legitimacy on immigration even with those who don't necessarily agree with his politics. Even more so than Australia or the US, Canada is infested with far-Left ideology concerning race, ethnicity, multiculturalism, and all of that type of Leftist b.s. Poilievre cleverly ties runaway immigration with a problem that's affecting large numbers of Canadians: the lack of proper and affordable housing.
But let's be clear: Poilievre has no interest in seeing filthy sh*tskins, chinks, and all manner of turd world trash pouring into Canada and radically altering its demographics to the point that the country cannot be saved. The housing/immigration ploy is how he gets his nose under the tent. It's a starting point.

For instance in Norway, the Folketrygd survives only because the cod eaters were fortunate enough become oil negroes in 1969. The Government Pension Fund Global covers around 20% of Norway's yearly welfare state budget (more when times are lean). The Folketrygd doesn't really produce outstanding results due to it being overseen by clueless bureaucrats in the national and municipal governments.
It's difficult to find competent people to run government programs when they can earn more money and be involved with much more dynamic opportunities in the private sector. OTOH, Norway isn't exactly a fount of innovation. The most common greeting there is "Da jeg våknet, var jeg klein", so the government employs just about any doofus to run the NIS.

Except for parts of French Canada and Alberta, the country is absolutely obsessed with non-whites. The national broadcaster, CBC, CONSTANTLY runs programming about chugs and indigenous morons along with the other garbage such as negroes, dot heads, chinks, etc. It's almost unbelievable how much airtime they devote to people who are not white.
