Pretty much every western politician thats promised to reduce immigration never did.
Trump actually did okay. His ‘Remain in Mexihell’ policy did stem the tide over the southern border even though it didn’t completely stop it. His border wall was a good faith effort even though it was greatly hampered by Leftist lawsuits and activist judges.
But the truth is that illegal immigration can almost be completely stamped out if there is the political will to do so.

I’m not sure how you’re still unable to grasp the fact that Obongo’s “turn-aways at the border” were not in fact actual deportations. It’s simply a stat without meaning that his political supporters use to claim he cared about US sovereignty whilst they also try to demean Trump’s immigration security efforts.
Trump certainly deported more illegals than Obongo who simply lied about his numbers which was modus operandi for that blue gummed sociopathic deceiver.
Trump’s “Stay in Mexihell” policy not only kept thousands of migrants on the correct side of the border but it also discouraged millions from attempting to make the trek northward.
Of course, Paedo Joe promptly dismantled that common sense policy and then ushered in a tsunami of turd world sh*tskins.
