got seed potatoes n onions, ordered a lion's mane mushroom kit, n re-stocked some pumpkin seeds

today was a day after a holiday tho, n in addition to still getting over bein' sick yesterday n the extra mail volume, my car was a hoe on the route n i had to call a mechanic out
so i get home after my 11 hour work day n it's dark, go to count chickens n close the coop doors, only to discover my boo boy n snowberry finally started scrappin over the bantam ladies
by which i mean snowberry goes to run a hen down in the yard n boo tries to stop it...
nothing that hasn't happened to boo before, but man i wish i had been here to clean him up before all this scabbed over

he's downstairs n has no fight in him to be heading outdoors any time soon

he's fine. nothing's broken. he looks worse than he is
in a few days he'll be back outside hanging out with his daughter bleep bloop n his grandchild pingu
 
honestly had considered picking up more of his breed, too
boo is one of the more charming roosters i've had, n unlike the old englishers (said with a hard r) which perpetually ran on "fuck it, we ball" vibes, boo is a flock favorite.
this was bound to happen after necking horus tho
boo already had battle scars n i had never seen snowberry fight but boo comes out of the woodwork whenever another roo is menacing the hoes, like a true gentleman
anyways, i am judging the porcelain sablepoot breed solely by boo n he's a fine brand ambassador
