retarded. You're going to be focused on the sights and the threat ahead of you and other possible threats. You're not going to care about barrel temperature. the bullet counter would be a distraction. Generally you pull the trigger until the slide locks back - empty, or if you are in a lull, you do what is called a tactical load, load a full mag, and then you do note how many rounds in the mag. Save that half used mag for last.

I've not watched anything else than this long video essay about the "I want it and I want it now" culture of today's world.
