PC or Console?

Someone on at work was telling me that the new ps5 will outclass pc's for a time to come but I am not sure cause he is liberal with truth

from the specs that have been released, it sounds like it

the xbox and ps5 sound like they are at current/next gen levels

what kind of makes me cautious about believing that in its entirety is that they are apparently stuffing $3ishk worth of hardware into a small container and selling it for a sub $1000, doesnt add up

he also said gpu's are also expensive cause china is buying up gpus for bitcoin mining
bitcoin mining definitely had an impact on GPU prices.

No.

"Very expensive." LOL. 2-4K for a decent lathe 4=8K for a decent mill. And often they come with tooling. The most "expensive" part is getting the thing off the trailer and into position in the shop.
i looked into building a small CNC mill from scratch, but i dont have the space for it. was interesting to learn a little more about the inner workings though. vfds, plcs, servos, multiple psus, etc.

CNC is only cost effective if you're going to want to make numerous identical parts. Specifically designed CNC's for that purpose, depending on what kind of part is to be made are about 2K. I think stepper kits are about 300 and up.

I don't know how much load these motor could take. MicroMark makes mini lathes and mini mills. If you are working on small parts then this may be the way to go for you.
They are tiny machines. You're really going to be limited in the size of parts. Check the dimensions of head travel. It's not much
