PC or Console?

CNC is only cost effective if you're going to want to make numerous identical parts. Specifically designed CNC's for that purpose, depending on what kind of part is to be made are about 2K. I think stepper kits are about 300 and up.

I don't know how much load these motor could take. MicroMark makes mini lathes and mini mills. If you are working on small parts then this may be the way to go for you.
They are tiny machines. You're really going to be limited in the size of parts. Check the dimensions of head travel. It's not much
yeah, i'd be better off getting a mill. i just wanted a project so im not sitting on my ass so much.
