it's also a fresh take on fantasy in anime i haven't seen much since isekais became a thing, no video game character class mmo exp bullshit, more inspired by pen and paper rpgs because the author is huge dnd nerd who literally finished the manga early so she can play baldur's gate 3
also the elf girl is cute and neurotic and i wanna touch some elf ears in non-lewd way allah forbid me
