nobody liked Himmler. Not even Hitler and Goebbels. Hitler knew he was on some faggot shit but kept him as head of the SS because he supposedly knew what he was doing. although he tried to rein him in as the war went on bc himmler was diverting resources on autistic fetch quests for historical relics.

Hitler and Goebbels get all the blame for the holocaust but if it werent for Himmler, a lot of the fucked up shit wouldnt have happened

I agree. I think alot of it had to deal with his jealousy of the other leaders/heads of the german govn't. He went on to create and oversee the SS equivalent of all the major services....Army/Navy/Air Force/Intelligence etc etc.
peen envy is a terrible thing.

Goering on the other hand was quite beloved by the Luftwaffe(he was an WW1 ace and last leader of the red baron's squadron), until he started to blame the decline of the war on the Luftwaffe itself....not to mention the rumors of homo bs at carinhall, and his addiction to morphine.
