    Bonnie died tonight. She had a sarcoma that formed on her leg. It was either get it amputated when she was too old and frail to reliably get anesthetics or watch her slowly waste away. I knew the amputated arm would have been a death sentence to her anyways. She died on my chest while I was trying to tease her back to health once more. Poor girl. RIP little one. 16 years old and is the first cat that didn't go and hide in pain and stayed with me til the end.

    She spent the past month in my room exclusively after a terrifying two days where she couldn't see, hear, or realize that she was on the side of a table and could fall off. She regained her senses and kept fighting for a month. Finally, her body gave out on her. At least she isn't suffering anymore and she was able to go out peacefully. We should all kind of hope for that route ... someone there taking care of you at the bitter end.
