A quick guide to OPSEC

And one final point,

The argument of "just don't use their apps" doesn't fly for several reasons.

Often these companies have a TOS that says that they can change their TOS whenever they want. So you could be using Apple, without them unlocking shit, but a year later a new CEO changes his mind and your data now goes to the NSA.

Also, social media has become so common place that asking someone just not to use their apps is bullshit. Last week I had to go to court for a ticket (which I won). I got to court and they gave me a fucking Zoom number to call in. So now I had to download Zoom, accept their TOS (which likely says they own my data) so I can appear for a traffic ticket.

Conceivably, such data can now be used by the Government without a warrant because I used a "private" company to access a court to have my ticket dismissed. Which I had no option not to do.

Social media has become so intertwined with daily life, user data must be protected from both the government and for sale to other companies (unless the data is anonymized).

Exactly. Now you understand the power of the fed and why it's so important to restrict the expansion of power.
You fucking told people to just accept it though.

This shouldn't worry you.
1. No one cares about the fat lesbian porn you look at
2. You have no finances to speak of.
3. You haven't traveled outside your county, let alone state so their is little or no worry of you contacting foreign agents of any importance.
4. Credit LOL you have none.
Mad. Mad.

You were wrong and I called you out on it and you're trying to draw attention away from that fact.

Holy shit. Zoom is hacked like what once an hour?

They won't fix it because these very same companies and their employees overwhelmingly support liberal causes. Hence the rub.
partisan issues have nothing to do with it, the US is a democracy where you have two parties to choose from, and both parties are basically the same on 99% of issues. Republican or democrat it really doesn't matter. A two-party system doesn't work for the sole reason that both sides will eventually fall under corporate interests (and they are now).

Take bernie for example. I don't necessarily support him because I don't know much about his platform but he did offer a pretty radical change that would protect US citizens from predatory companies (healthcare reform) and look how hard the democrats shot him down.

Ok Che-ette. What are your solutions aside from what I listed.

I be is the retarded much.
99% of people will never be subject to a security letter was my point. Does the gubbermint have that ability? Sure. Does the gubbermint care what a fat assistant nursing student does in bumfuck PA does if she does not have the means to put herself on the radar? No.

Face it. You're boring to the gubbermint. Why? Sexism obviously.

Oh I think if you examined the records you would say otherwise. However, point on many of the R's and D's being RINO/DINO on issues.

Bernie wants a single payer healthcare system. Spin doctors saying "ackshully Bernie wants.." no. It's single payer it's just done in stages. (Guber the architect of the ACA, said the ACA was by design meant to fail to pave the way of single payer.) He is calling for the abolition of a several billion dollar a year industry.
"predatory" is hyperbolic. If you are higher risk you pay more. Same thing with auto insurance, home insurance, sports insurance etc., etc., etc.

What was I wrong about? Security letters are not issued unless you have an online presence or travel and contact with persons of hostile intent towards the US.

No one sees you as dangerous to the US because you decide to strip down, paint your blobish body in red paint symbolizing your blood and rant in a march about some retarded issue.

yes, which would lead to big pharma and other healthcare industries making significantly less money. hence my point. any radical change that could ever effect big corporations in anyway immediately gets shot down. This is why american politics is so stagnate.

Despite the fact that literally every civilized country either has universal healthcare or at least social systems at play to help at risk people the US still hasn't adopted this because your lawmakers love to see you get fucked in the ass by private healthcare organizations that don't care about you and want to keep you sick for as long as possible to drain money out of your pockets.

Evil doctors and drug companies profiteering off of illness.
Just because the majority of people do it doesn't make it right. That's called rationalization. Every other "civilized nation with universal healthcare," is seeing a drop in quality of services and death panels. And many of these systems are not completely "free" at time of service.

The US proponents for UHC are openly stating it now.

Universal healthcare only guarantees you get fucked in the ass by the gubbermint.

" These treatment delays can injure or even kill patients. Long wait times were a factor in 44,000 Canadian women's deaths from 1993 to 2009. "

Even Canadian "free" healthcare is said to have on average nearly 6K out of pocket expenses.
Which is similar to the ACA. I don't see the savings.

they issued NSLs to librarians you dumb shit
Sorry your lesbian librarian friends got pinched. Public libraries now have internet access which anyone can access for any purpose. It is highly likely that someone with nefarious intent to use a public system in efforts to keep their activities secret. The NSA's didn't pertain to them directly did they? only the public system which was being looked at for possible abuse.

I wouldn't have you jailed for that that's free speech. I would have you institutionalized. It's more humane.

You are upset over a non issue, hyped by, of all websites -- Mother Jones. I don't want to even comment on their obvious socialist bias. The system that was served the NSL was a public system. Literally owned by the gubbermint. This is highly different from the situation of Mamood getting FBI'ed for tweeting allah ackbar in response to Scalise being shot, or some rapefugee traveling to Syria for "religious" reasons and coming back with some GSW, and posting himself under an ISIS flag.

How is it that you fail to understand the difference? You literally have less protection when you use your company's computer at work.

You are on a gubbermint system and you are worried that you might be subject to gubbermint snooping?
With a small government there's less of a chance they will abuse their power, no?

I was kidding about you having you institutionalized, however, not so sure now.
