this is a chicken. chickens have a high respawn rate BECAUSE they get picked off all the time. he was a rooster. his job was to defend his hens/eggs. as the area where the majority of his feathers was at was right in front of a clutch of eggs, he was doing what he was supposed to do. not a single hen was gone, and no eggs were violated.
i'm on year 3 of chicken owning. i have relocated and killed possums/snakes that were raiding food. i have animal traps, i have a crossbow. shut up
