They're arguably more comfortable. I'm used to the PS controllers by now, but the Xbox controllers still feel more natural.

My hands are huge, but I've also owned every Playstation, and the controller hasn't changed much over the years.
The Xbox controller is just better designed.
I certainly don’t have huge hands, but I do have long fingers. And indeed the Xbox controller is more comfortable than the PS controller.
The like that the PS conttoller at least has the option of using real directional buttons. The 360 d pad is unusable

I agree but the trade off on the PS controller is that the thumb sticks can feel awkward, especially if you're playing a fighting game. Then again, you can just use the D pad when playing most fighters lol.

Alright, so the D-Pad was shit, but the concept was good.
Price was not discussed. There appears to be two models, one completely digital and another with an optical drive.
While not confirmed the price is expected to be: $499 / £449 / AU$749. You can expect a disk-less drive to be at least $50 less than an optical.
While the PS5 has a better lineup/exclusives (the trailer confirms this trend) the Xbox Series One X Series One Xbox Whateverthefuck is rumored to have better specs.
As far as the controller, it isn't really much different form previous PS5 and still quite different from Xbox. True the handles have changed to more Xbox like, but the Analog is the same and the DualSense is different.
Out of all the controllers the Nintendo Switch Pro, followed by Xbox are the best I have handled. The Gamecube being a close 3rd.
Trident gets props for being the first, but there is no way I would use that over a SwitchPro.
It was awkward switching from D-Pad to analog. Nintendo had not realized using two analogs at the same time would be better than the C-Buttons.
Are the new PS and Xbox going to have mechanical drives or will they finally use an SSD? Or do they want everyone to play online via their servers and have no local storage?
They will both use SSDs. I think PS5 will have their own type of SSD that will make it faster than Xbox. It's one of the only categories PS5 beats the new Xbox in.
