Autocad was the first program I pirated in the late 90's. Took 14+ floppy disk but I transferred it.

We even used a pirated version in tech school because the program our teacher had sucked. Nobody seemed to mind.
I think a license was around 10K at the time...

Out of work developer and IT.

I was going on-boarding by an Airline Company before COVID-19 happened.

But, the Government pays me 850+ a week because of it, so I can't complain.

During that time I will re-certify some expired certs.

I cant even use Autocad, it still uses the same UI from like 1986

I use Fusion 360 for everything

I was told by Engineers they prefer another program, not sure if it was fusion or something else. They said it is better to group projects.

I would do my homework at home and play emulators at school. one of the things we had was to take 2D and convert it to 3D models.

I was smart enough to find a plugin that did that shit for me. But to install the plugin I needed administrator privs.

So I took the program and transferred it to my home PC and installed the plugin.

I think some guys in my class even installed games on the school machines because they were unsecured and the teachers knew jack shit about stuff.
Can´t remember what it was but it ran on those 1st gen pentium pieces of crap.
