So the only people surprised by this are people who don't know the political landscape. Va Politics makes the shit that Drumpf is going through look like Preschool Sunday school.

A government that lets every citizen do whatever he or she wants is anarchy. Anarchy is bad.

I don't agree with everything the Republican party does but, it's far closer to what I want the government/country to be than the liberal/progressive version.

However, as either you or someone else said, both parties now seem to be gravitating towards more government control. One side says because of this we want to take your rights - vote for me. The other side says WE'LL give you this but, we'll have to take your rights - vote for me.

That is the point i keep reiterating. One thing everyone agrees on regardless of ideology is that this government no longer serves the people it's meant to.
