I tried (and failed) to stop him from buying a hooker ten years his senior. She took the money and ran, claiming her car broke down, and he had a small scale meltdown. He met her on WhatsApp and was paying for nudes.

The last time I talked to him was Turkey Day (day or two after) and he told me his grandma kicked him out and he was staying at a friend's house.

(Note: He looks like Neil Perry from Dead Poets Society, the only difference being Neil went through with it instead of texting "I'm finna kms" everytime he stubbed his toe.)

Eh Army is more of mind fuck than anything.
He'll meet a lot of really stupid people and worse a lot of smart people forced to do stupid stuff.

His MOS is key. Have him think past the Army. If he wants to be a lifer, ok. There's still life after the Army. Tell him good luck for me.

As Ian says, it's a auto fire rifle with a box mag. It's not built for sustained suppressive fire. The gas tube is always the first to go. And when that goes, if the rifle is not on actual fire, you've got a bolt action 556. Not fun if things are getting sporty.

If you think about LMGs and what they are for, is not for killing, primarily. it's suppressive fire. LMGs are primarily for pinning down enemey units so your guys can advance and get a better killing angle. The movies of guys just ripping into houses etc., yeah that happens, but if you watch any Funker vids you see how LMGs really get used.

KA makes good stuff. I just cant justify the extra 2K it costs to buy anything with the KA brand. I need now, I need reliable and I need practically indestructible. So should you. is it a Gucci gun, yes and no. Price, yeah, but to get a PSA to get to the level of DD endurance and reliability you're gonna upgrade in pretty much that same range. So by once, cry once, I say.

Honestly, that's your opinion. Not sure it's really based on anything but your butthurt, but ok.

Before the neighbor's dog bit my dominant hand in attempts to attack my dogs while I was out walking them, I was .6-ish seconds out of a IWB holster on target at 8-15 yards (I can acquire new targets exceptionally fast. and when shooting with some of the best shooters in my state, they picked up some tips from me even though they were shooting completion for decades. It was about self imposed limitations. I won't get into detail with you because you wouldn't understand, your entire life is a self imposed limitation. And I won't tell you them because you're a trannie FED and will enable jews and terrorists) , and performed the Mozambique drill with four targets in little over 5 seconds. Since then, I've "slowed" down to .8 seconds to first shot. But I am regaining speed. Hip fire is less than .3 seconds.

And my favorite pistol to do this with is my Kimber 1911. Lots of fucking reloads with an 8 round mag. Total pain in the ass.

So basically, go fuck yourself.
