mint farm 2.0

i am letting most of the grow spots in the yard chill out this year n threw clover seeds in them. gonna maybe do a few small pumpkins but mostly stick to greenhouse growbed fall/spring greens n carrots. started some potats in some deeper tubs too.
marie hentoinette started crowing after i finished reading catcher in the rye. this is now holden cockfield

because it's a less wasteful self-watering one
you pour water n it stays in the bottom n then evaporates up into the soil
Hmm, that possibly could work IF there are no holes on the bottom side which is common among planter boxes.

I guess it could also encourage root growth.

But these are all theories. I have seen no proof that pipe-in-a-box (PIAB) is more effective than top-down watering.
