I mean, wouldn't you be upset if you were a grifter with your face firmly planted in the public moneytrough for a decade and a half, able to spin out and sell off public property to your mates in exchange for brown envelopes, cash in your numbered accounts in the Caymans and the promise of future do-nothing executive positions - and to top it off, with a convenient pajeet figurehead to take the worst heat.
