mint farm 2.0

drunk login update no pics:
little buddy passed. as head rooster (of my heart) he has been buried under the chair that he used fall asleep in my arms, in a half a yard of white satin fabric. the morning crows are emptier without him
i ordered a white button mushroom kit and am expanding the berry shrubs i got one more blueberry and raspberry
i started some lettuce, bok choy, and carrots in the greenhouse
potato n onion seed starts ready to go but it's supposed to be below freezing again in a few days so gonna have to wait

yo @raptor_j why can't i view yr profile? who was that hot gay farmer dude who's vids you posted in my old farm thread? the one with the gorgeous blue eyes n the big dick collectin' farm eggs plz respond

i forgot to mention in the update bcuz mild idiocy but i have also acquired an egg incubator so i am going to try hatching some eggs bcuz i can't deal with another batch of hatchery chicks arriving pre-sickened with brooder pneumonia so i am gonna hatch a few of my own chicken eggs and see how well that goes n then test out hatchin' some other breed eggs if that goes well n i don't suck at it

How many eggs do you and your family consume per week?

@minty maybe you could give sugar cane a try. this roo-fucker aussie says it's crazy easy to grow.
self-sufficient me! i love his videos!
i think he lives in a different climate than i do, more subtropical. he has banana trees. i tried to start some here n they wouldn't even sprout.
brief research shows sugar cane as flourishing best in 90F with 50% humidity
"sugar cane can be started in arkansas indoors in fall"
i'd need a better indoor grow set-up, i think

the mushroom thing is easier i just put water on them, threw the kit in a closet i don't use, throw covid n95 mask on so i don't get spores in lungs, check mycelium for dampness, and then leave
full bog witch goblin at this point

same
i'm the only one that likes tomatoes too. or spiciness. trying to cook for the whole house is a waste of time.
still threw mushies in the slow cooker with the latest pot roast anyway
my husband looked at me disappointed while i was dicin' 'em n i told him they're big enough he can scoop around

it's not my fault these ppl have unsophistocated flavor palettes
